We recognized the need to develop Blink due to the frustration we experienced with the existing tools. We carefully identified the essential features and based Blink on four key concepts:

• Fast rendering: Instantaneous rendering of dmesg in your Unix server. We utilized Chromium's HTerm to achieve perfect and speedy rendering, even with complex encodings.
• Always on: Mosh surpasses the variability of SSH connections, overcoming unstable and intermittent connectivity characteristic of mobile networks. With Mosh, you can freely browse Safari without the need to restart the SSH connection. Whether you are at home, on a train, or in the office, Blink maintains a rock-solid connection throughout. Install Mosh easily on your server at https://mosh.mit.edu.
• Excellent keyboard support: Blink fully embraces Bluetooth-coupled keyboards, accommodating preferences such as Caps as Esc on Vim or Caps as Ctrl on Emacs. During your always-on sessions, you remain in control.
• Custom Fonts and Themes: We understand the importance of personalizing your terminal experience. That's why Blink includes a selection of fonts and themes, including Powerline variants. Additionally, you have the flexibility to create and add your own customizations.

• Straightforward interface: We have eliminated unnecessary menus and opted for a full-screen terminal interface. Use swipe gestures to switch between open connections, slide down to close them, and even pinch to zoom!
• Customizable connections: Personalize your Blink connections by adding your own hosts and PKI keys. Sync your settings with iCloud for familiar configurations that allow you to jump right into work.
• Incorporated SplitView and multiple windows: Need to perform Google searches or chat with coworkers while using Blink? No problem! We have integrated SplitView and multiple windows for your convenience.
